The Boy Who Lived Comes to Die

Two new items on the blog!

First, a new release! This second volume in The Boy Who Lived Guides for Writers and Fans, The Boy Who Lived Comes to Die delves beneath the surface of the final chapter of JK Rowling's magical saga to analyze for writers what specific craft techniques brought the series to a thrilling end. Originally posted on this blog, and collected on the Kindle for the reader's convenience, this intensive but easy to read guide discusses the final battle of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with regard to characterization, plotting, world building, mythical allusions, and themes. Also included are a few "mistakes" JK Rowling made along the way.

The Boy Who Lived Comes to Die  is a targeted analysis focused only on the specific aspects of this final chapter that helped draw the series to a satisfying conclusion. This material is supplemental to and not included in the full A Writer's Guide to Harry Potter book.

Contents include nearly 100 manuscript pages with quotes and lists to highlight specific examples.

Second: I've added a new poll to the right sidebar!! ---->>
