I also felt that the Trio wandered through the forest a bit too long and I wished there was some way we could have kept more abreast along the way w/ what was happening at Hogwarts. JKR is definitely not a perfect writer. I do think that breaking her patterns showed strongly how the world was changing, but I think it would have been even better if she'd somehow addressed these two issues better.

Thanks for visiting and commenting!S.P. I loved the war at the end, but the whole middle with them in the tent felt very long and in need of some editing. I missed the world she had built at Hogwarts. But overall she succeeded in her attempts, but only b/c she is such a good writer.Laura Paulinghttp://www.laurapauling.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5330251478298712601.post-12654587221638284042010-11-17T20:13:22.430-05:002010-11-17T20:13:22.430-05:00Lisa, I haven't listened to any detailed revie...Lisa, I haven't listened to any detailed reviews yet on the movie, but I'll see for myself tomorrow night! Plus, she had to get rid of Harry's support so he could face the final confrontation alone.S.P. It was noticeable but necessary when she killed of Sirius - if Harry lived with him the connection to Harry's mother kin would weaken.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15459671422564355990noreply@blogger.com
