I've always been looking for HP books analysis like yours and also studied it myself a little, but there was always something I didn't manage. Anyway, I'm glad that I have three months off school now so I can dig myself into it a little more and read your posts parallelly :). And this is one of my favourite posts. Keep up good work ;)Samnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5330251478298712601.post-58325921922133264242011-06-22T00:23:45.873-04:002011-06-22T00:23:45.873-04:00Welcome Lady Gwen and Hannah! I know a family who listened to the whole series that way when making a cross-country trek. You'll probably pick up on a lot of clues and references by re-reading. Enjoy!S.P. I love a first chapter that builds a foundation filling my mind with questions. It makes me a loyal follower of the story from the get go. My kids and I decided our audio book for our summer car trip will be a re-listen of "Sorcerer's Stone." Time to go back to the beginning with all we know now.Leslie S. He couldn't know that at this very moment, people meeting in secret all over the country were holding up their glasses and saying in hushed voices: 'To Harry Potter -- the boy who lived!'."<br /><br />Think about how hard this passage hits you upon re-reading, now that you know everything there is to know of Harry's struggle. I can never get through this paragraph without tears. That's the power of this first chapter, that upon first read you didn't quite know what made this boy special or what was going to happen to him, but when you revisit it, the significance of these words hits you HARD.Mia Mannshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07650015788907711393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5330251478298712601.post-88081972164210932362011-06-17T13:31:16.964-04:002011-06-17T13:31:16.964-04:00He he!
